No! Paid credits roll over across billing cycles and never expire. They accumulate until you use them.
On Pro and Ultra plans, you can enable optional overage billing to keep running jobs after your credits are depleted. Overage is tracked and billed at the end of your billing period. On the Free tier, you'll need to wait for your daily credits to reset at midnight UTC.

A shot is a single execution of your quantum circuit. Because quantum results are probabilistic, you typically run many shots (e.g., 1000) to get statistically meaningful results. More shots equate to more accurate results but higher cost.
